Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care McLaughlin in Lindsay, Ontario.
Kevin will be deeply missed by his children, Alicha Fedewicz (Andrew Fedewicz), Melissa Malone, and John Malone, his siblings (Theresa Meier, Danny Malone and Mary Malone) and nephews Scott and Matthew Meier. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to nine grandchildren — Abigail and Cassidy Malone, Clayton and Reed Bartley, Riley and Blake Fedewicz, Ryan, Joseph, and Daniel Malone — all of whom brought him great joy and pride.
A loyal member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kevin valued camaraderie, community, and service. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures — spending time outdoors, fishing, watching hockey (always cheering for his beloved Montreal Canadiens), and enjoying the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle.
Those who knew Kevin will remember his caring nature, his humor, and his love of good music — especially tunes that spoke to the soul. As the song says, he’s now on his way to that “Spirit in the Sky.”
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 6th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Oshawa, Ontario (471, Simcoe Street South). Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories and celebrate Kevin’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
