I, Kenneth Edward Oakes, born on October 23, 1926 in London, England, chose to leave this beautiful planet when I was able to choose a time of my own to go. My loving thanks to my dear wife, Arlene, for putting up with me for 40 years of wonderful marriage and for being my guardian angel at all times. My thanks also to the nursing staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for the care they gave me during my recent stay there as a patient. If you care to make a donation in my memory, please consider A Place Called Home in Lindsay, The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or a charity of your choice. It is my request that there will be no service following cremation.
