September 15, 1958 to December 21, 2025

Ken passed away on December 22, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ken leaves behind his devoted wife of 44 years, Jean (nee Hawery). Beloved father of Vanessa Power (Brad), Candace Houghton (Stephen) and Hilary Jamieson (Aiden). Cherished grandfather of Astrid, Saria, Nellie and Stirling. Missing him greatly will be Rufio and Bruno.

Predeceased by his parents Harold and Florence James and his sister Marlene James.

Remembered by his siblings Phil James (Helen), Gord James, Valerie James (Ed Call) and his many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Ken was an avid golfer and continued to golf into August of this year. He will be dearly missed by his golfing buddies.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Palliative Care for their support during his final weeks.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at Lakeland Funeral Centre on Saturday, April 25 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Donations in memory of Ken can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
