Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Marlene Gorrill (nee Kay) for 52 years. Loving father of Donie and the late Mike Gorrill. Cherished grandfather of Jess, Emily, Hope and great grandfather of Braxton, Zack and Elsa. Dear brother of Dale Rob (George), Nancy Scott and John Gorrill (Debbie McLean). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit and Ada from Hospice Kawartha Lakes for all their care. Friends will be received on Saturday, July 29 from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre (19 Moose Rd., Lindsay). A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Lakeland Chapel. Rev. Jeannette Millar officiating. Reception to follow at the Woodville Legion.
