Kathleen Alice Green (nee Avis)

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 91 years.

Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Green and loving mother of David Green (Lynn), Susan McKay (Michael), Tom Green (Louise), Jeffrey Green (Jonna), and Tim Green (Kim).

She was the cherished grandmother of Corey, Megan, Melanie, Stephanie, Nick, Heather, Holly, Meghan, Zack, Sam, Justine, Darcy, and Kristie, and proud great-grandmother of Grayson, Archer, Lennox, Lauren, Bowen, Kaden, Mason, Myles, Lydia, Preston, Kingston, Brinley, Laken, Ben, and Gracie.

Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings Norm, Fred, Vic, Jim, Mabel, and Daphne, as well as by her parents, Walter Avis and Alice Avis (née Goble).

As per Kathleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre on May 29, 2026 between the hours of 1PM - 3PM. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 2PM.
