Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on November 28, 2025, in his 82nd year, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Lois Stoldt (nee Gilbank) for 37 years. Proud stepfather of Tony Willis (Jacinda), Candice Rogerson (Darrin), Shari Redmond (Jeff) & Trevor Willis (Cheri). Beloved Opa of 7, and great grandfather of 2. Beloved son of the late Johannes and Gesine Stoldt. Predeceased by his brother Edmund Stoldt (survived by Vivian). Karl will be missed by many extended family members and friends.
Opa loved Christmas Eve and celebrating the holiday with his family, making every year memorable. He was an avid animal lover and will be missed dearly by his beloved cats Missy & Cuddles.
The Stoldt family wishes to share their gratitude to the Ross Memorial Hospital & Community Care for the wonderful care they provided during this challenging time.
In keeping with Karl’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment at Emily Cemetery in Omemee.
Donations in memory of Karl can be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
