Passed away at home in her 77th year. Predeceased by her partner Louise Greer (2024). She leaves behind her brothers David Wilson, Robert Wilson (Georgia), sister Janice Geddes (Jim), nieces Claire Doyle (Terry), Andrea Geddes, Kelly Geddes, nephew Scott Lyons and great niece Emma Doyle. Joy was very involved with Queen Street United Church where she worked for a number of years until her retirement. She loved being involved with the Circle of Writers Group. As per Joy’s wishes there will be no funeral or celebration of life. We ask that you take a moment to honour and celebrate Joy in your own way. She wishes that any donations be made to Cambridge Street United Church or the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
