It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Josh Sedgwick born December 29, 1983. A beloved son, brother, and friend. Joshua took his own life on January 7th, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories.
Josh struggled with mental illness throughout his life, demonstrating remarkable resilience and courage in the face of adversity. Despite his challenges, Joshua's kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious smile touched the lives of everyone he met.
Joshua is now reunited with his loving mother, Carol Ann Sedgwick , and other cherished family members who preceded him in death. We take comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace, free from the struggles that he faced in life. Rest in peace.
Donations in memory of Joshua can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
