John "Jack" Neal

It is with heavy hearts, the family of John “Jack” Henry Neal announce his passing on Wednesday December 11, 2024 after turning 89. Born on December 10, 1935, Jack was the first-born son to Ken and Muriel Neal. Predeceased by his wife, Doreen (1996) and his friend Anne Lee (2024). Jack was a devoted father who was very proud of his three children. He will be immensely missed by his daughters Neisha (Ron), Cindy (Steve) and his son Ken (Sylvia). He loved having his grandchildren around, Chris (Darrah), Scott, Troy, Tyler (Alex), Michelle (Jake), Sarah (Brendon), Scott (Dan) and found endless joy in his great grandchildren, Tyson, Logan, Blake, Grayson, Briggs and Baylor. Jack is survived by his siblings Janice (Fran), Richard (Rosita), Julia (Rene) and predeceased by Arlene (Roman) who will all miss their big brother.

“Jack” loved the great outdoors; you could find him on his tractor doing wood for his winter supply, spending time at his trailer at The Lot while enjoying his family and peace and quiet. He enjoyed riding his side by side around often being called “The Park Ranger.”

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Lakeland Funeral and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay. Visitation will take place at 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. followed by a reception until 4:00 P.M. If desired, donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada or Canadian Cancer Society in his memory.
