What can I say about Dad...He lived like a king, he died like a king! You will be missed more than you'll ever know. Nobody was more honest, truthful, tell it like it is, even if we didn't like it. You were so loyal and dedicated. In your early years, just a kid in advertising you brought Hot Wheels to Canada. You truly lived "Mad Men". Later when you met great guys like Rod, Howard and Paul...wonder who's pouring? Two fingers. Yorkville will miss you, you loved everything about Yorkville, especially the people, okay most of the people. Remember we had to live with him. You will be so missed by Grandchildren Amanda, Violet, Michael and his wife Rose and Great Granddaughters Charlotte and baby Isabelle (Salley). Your son Kevin his wife Kim, brother Marsh and wife Bev, Sister-in-law Susan and husband Heinz. Friends of a million years , Annie, Billy, Bobby and Krys, Floyd, Ronnie, Laurie and all your friends in Victoria Place. A special thankyou to Carolyn , Jill, Tina and Dr. Snarr for making his life and ours better. Almost five summers caring for you and Mom, you deserved it. I hate what life dealt us, but you were still here, you remembered us, we were a family. Violet, Russell and I will never regret caring for you. We had great memories. You died saying you were happy, smile on your face. In true Johnny fashion, he did what he wanted to do. His favourite saying was "Right or wrong, I'm still the Captain".
Goodbye Wee John, hope the pipes play you home. Love ya Dad.
