Peacefully passed away with her family by her side at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, Lindsay on Monday, June 2nd, 2008 in her 75th year. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband and best friend of 54 years, Robert. Cherished mother of Blake (Liz) and Karen (M.B. Wilson). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Colleen, Bronwyn, Heather, Claudia and Rob. Predeceased by her mother, Edna. A private family celebration of her wonderful life has taken place. Joan's family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Caressant Care on McLaughlin for their support and compassion and also to the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital for the comfort, care and unbelievable efforts given to Mom and the whole family.
