Janice Trimper

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday September 3rd, 2023. Predeceased by her first husband, Murray Cann and her second husband, Douglas Trimper. Beloved mother to Joyce (Vern), Donna (Larry), Ellen (Rod), Ernest (Elza) and stepson, Wendell (June). Cherished Grandma to Sarah and Heather. Dearest Nannie to John (Kathy), Larry (Jen), David and their children, Chardon, Camaron, Emily, Lawrence, Brayden and Ava. Special Grandma to Shawn, Brad and James. Also predeceased by her parents and four siblings. She will be sincerely missed by many nieces and nephews.

Janice was a devoted Christian, who was very active in the church most of her life and took pride in volunteering. Family and God were the most important things to her. Janice found joy in doing word searches, being outdoors in nature and had a love for butterflies. She was known for being humble, honest and kind. She was always there to listen when you needed someone and had a good sense of humour. She truly demonstrated a life well lived.

A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday September 8th, 2023 at Lakeland Funeral Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay. Funeral service in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Eden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Women’s Resources or Kawartha Lakes Food Source.
