It is with great sadness to announce that Janet Lorraine Morris passed away peacefully at home in Little Britain, Ontario on Monday, June 5, 2023 after a long illness. Janet was born in Sarnia and spent most of her life in Sunderland and Little Britain doing what she loved, gardening, building a cozy home and taking care of her family. She treasured family time and enjoyed enchanting her grandchildren with decorations, special treats and spent many hours on the beach sifting sand and building castles on Sandy Grey Lake in Muskoka. Janet was preceded in death by her loving parents Jack and Verna Barnes, sister Barbara, brothers Gary and Brian and her wonderful grandson Karl Schnalzer. Janet leaves behind her partner Ted Hunter, her daughter Jody Morris, daughter Kathy and husband Karl Schenlzer and son Glen Morris. She will be missed by her granddaughters Lindsey Whitehouse (Mike), Becky Whitehouse (Zack) and great granddaughter Parker Jarvis, grandson Jack Schnelzer (Maria), brother John (Ann Barnes) and special friends Val and Jim Pollick, Wanda Hunter and family, Erin and Melissa Hunter and family.
