Janet Helen Heaton

HEATON, Janet Helen – Surrounded by family, Janet passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 7th, 2017 in her 69th year.

Janet will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Barry Heaton; loving sons: Spencer Heaton (Amy) and Russell Heaton (Sherry); cherished grandchildren: Alyssa, Ciara and Russell Jr.; adoring brother: Alan Craggs (Ann) and sister: Pamela Tandy; dear nephew: Paul Craggs (Jenn) and niece: Julie Robinson (Tom).

Janet’s family wish to extend their gratitude to all the medical and nursing staff in Palliative Care at RMH for their constant care and compassion, with special thanks to Dr. Moores, Dr. McMillan, and Nurses Anne, Ashley, Cathy, Coleen, Courtney, Gwen, Janique, Jean, Karen, Kristen, Melissa, Michele, Mickaila, Molly, Ruth-Ann, Shelley, Sue, Tracey, and Vicki.

In keeping with Janet’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Janet’s life at Lakeland Funeral and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Janet, donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit or Ovarian Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated.
