James "Jim" Joseph Misener

Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Monday August 25th, 2025 in his 71st year.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph Henry Misener and Kathleen Mary Misener (Catton). Survived by his wife, Jayne Howard and sister, Heather Marie Misener and his daughters, Katelynn and Mikala Dewar.

Jim passed away leaving behind cherished memories of a life lived with energy, humour and heart. Jim worked with his hands building a career as a roofer, carpenter and jack of all trades. Outside of work, he found joy and community in his passions. For a decade he was an active member of the Toronto Outboard Racing Club where he shared his love for speed and water. Most recently, Jim served as President of the Antique and Classic Club of Canada – Kawartha Lakes Region, combining his enthusiasm for cars with his gift for friendship and leadership.

Jim embraced the outdoors and wide open spaces that brought him peace. He especially loved riding his motorcycle with friends taking in the freedom of the open road. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit.

In keeping wish Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life being held at Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay) on Friday October 17, 2025 between the hours of 1PM-3PM.
