James Norman Robertson

James Norman Robertson passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on April 21, 2023. Survived by his loving spouse of 66 years, Shirley Robertson (nee Bowes).  Cherished Father of John (Louise) Robertson, Laurie (Rick) Howell, Wendy (Dan) Burke and Bill (Jamie) Robertson. Beloved Grandfather of Tera (Frank) Keenan, Tiffany (Nolan) Nicholson, Nicole (John) Howell, Kyle (Laura) Howell and Britney (Blair) Bazley, Chris (Jasmine) Burke, Michael (Ashley) Burke, Allyssa (Ryan) Drinkwalter, Brady (Shannon) Robertson, Dawson Robertson, Von Robertson and Great-Grandfather to fourteen. Predeceased by his parents John and Vera Robertson. Brother of Robert (Judy) Robertson, Don (Gail – predeceased) Robertson, Doug (Sharron) Robertson and Helen (David) Wain.

James will be remembered for his love of the farm and many years of fishing, hunting and trapping. Will be especially missed by his two beloved feline companions, Minnie and Annie. A special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of the ICU at Ross Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will take place on June 10th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
