Jacqueline Burton

Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Diane BURTON (nee Crocker) peacefully entered into the warm embrace of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday March 24th, 2022 in her 76th year.

Loving mother of Brad (Susan), Darryl (Nicole), Shane (Holly) and Catherine Gordon.  Grandma, Gran and Granny Gal to Matthew (Savannah), Jake, Joshua (Savannah), Devon, Noah, Deacon, Scarlett and Bryce.   Sister of James Crocker (Maryanne) and Aunt to Melody, Shawn and Emily.  Still lovingly remembered by Glen Burton, Dave Gordon and never to be forgotten by Debbie Burton.

Born in Toronto on January 14th, 1947, Jackie was an exceptional cook, loved sewing and had a ministry of embroidered crosses which have been handed out on mission trips throughout the world.  Singing off key to her favourite hymns, her warm laughter, her sparkling eyes, her love of hugs and her love of angels, which now surround her, are some of the warm memories her family will cherish forever.  One of her favourite songs was ‘I Can Only Imagine’. Jackie no longer has to imagine, as she is seeing the glory and wonder of the place Jesus has gone to prepare for us.

Jackie loved the Lord, her family, reading her Bible and her family rests in the knowledge that she is with those she loved who have gone before her. Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the broken-heart and saves the crushed in spirit’ Matthew 11:28 ‘Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.’ Romans 8:18 ‘I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing the glory that will be revealed in us.’
