Passed away suddenly at Ross Memorial Hospital on January 20, 2025. He leaves behind devoted wife of 40+ years, Sandra “Sam” Veenstra. Cherished father of Cheyanne (Eddie) & Jack (Tash). Proud grandfather of Rylan, Mary & Elsie. Remembered by his sister Kathleen (Neil). Jack will be missed by his nephew Kyle & nieces Katelyn, Dakota & Cherise.

Jack could often be found riding his motorcycle, woodworking or in his garden caring for his “plants”. He lived life to the fullest. Jack travelled all over the pacific during his time in the Navy. He loved to laugh and always had the biggest smile while he was being the life of the party. He was famous for his favourite saying “every action has a reaction”. He will be deeply missed by many and remembered often.

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
