Ingrid Ball

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our Mom, Ingrid Ball, on May 7, 2023.  We lost our loving and devoted Mom, Wife, Mother-in-law, Sister, Grandma, Aunt and Friend to all whose lives she touched. Beloved wife of 52 years, Harold Ball. Loving mother of Stephen (Karen) Ball, David Ball, Andrea Ball. Grandmother of Aaron Ball (Tasha), Nicole Ball (Christian), Kadyn Goble and Seth Goble. Beloved sister of Rosie (Gary) Stainton, and Angie MacArthur (Arnold). Predeceased by her Father, Francis Rawlinson, Mother, Eleanore MacArthur and Stepfather Andrew MacArthur. She will be missed by her beloved nieces and nephews.

She was a loving Wife and dedicated Mother first and foremost. She treasured her Grandchildren and embraced every moment with utmost pride.  She was a caring woman who spent most of her life thinking about and helping others. She always surrounded herself with her loved ones which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.

Mom had the biggest heart and feisty personality that always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went.  She made herself a wonderful life as a homemaker and worker in many various industries but her heart was in retail where she cherished her customers and their checkout chats.

She loved her home and kept a beautiful house, she loved animals and their family pets which was reciprocated with her uncanny empathy which attracted any and all animals. 

She was the strongest lady we knew and fought courageously right to the end.  A determined and a fiercely independent woman. Life will be so different without her and we will miss her more than words can express every day until we meet again. 

Special appreciation to Steph, Kristen, Julie, Ruth-Anne, Cara, Melissa and Kasey for their compassion and care in Palliative unit at Ross Memorial. 

Family service will be held on May 13th.

Celebration of Life will be held at Janetville Hall Saturday, May 27th 12pm - 4pm.
