Passed away peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. He leaves behind his cherished spouse Antonette Whalen (nee Van Der Sluizen). Proud father of Mike Whalen (Tiffany) & Matt Whalen (Stacey). Best Opa to Darcee, Abigail, Zachary & Marlee. He will be missed by his mother in law An Iterson & brother in laws Emiel Van Der Sluizen (Yvonne) & Bob Van Der Sluizen (Gerda) of the Netherlands. Cousin of Len Wall (Cherie). He will be remembered by his best bud John Graff (Liz) & motorcycle bud Bryan York (Tracey).
Glen was a carpenter by trade. He was a proud member of Local 27. He shared many memories with his friends and colleagues that he made over his years of carpentry. He was a loved superintendent of many and will be remembered for his teachings he shared over the years. He inspired, taught and encouraged everyone who worked with him and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In keeping with Glen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
