George Henry Taylor

With his children by his side, George passed away peacefully in the care of the Ross Memorial Hospital palliative care unit in Lindsay, Ontario on Saturday evening October 4, 2025. He is reunited with the love of his life, Joyce and his youngest daughter Lori. His kind, and gentle demeanor will be missed by his daughter Debbie Partington (Michael) and son Douglas Taylor, grandchildren Stephanie, Holly (Alex), Ryan and Caitlin, along with countless friends and relatives.

A special thank you to all who took the time to visit Dad in the hospital, he truly appreciated the time he spent with each of you. Happiness is not something you always find, you create it. No one can make you happy, you must create and feel that for yourself first and foremost. For those who met and knew our dad, he truly epitomised that essence of happiness and optimism; always being there as a great father, grandfather and friend to the many, always willing to share a laugh. He certainly helped anyone he met perhaps create a little of that happiness. Godspeed Dad, Poppa. XOXO

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Lakeland Funeral Home, Lindsay. As per Dad's insistence, and due to his ever-humble nature, there will be no service or Celebration of Life.
