Frederick Leo Pick, 95, passed away on September 18, 2024 at Victoria Manor Long Term Care in Lindsay, Ontario.
Fred was born on February 2, 1929, to Frederick Pick and Stella Ruprecht in Montréal, Québec. Fred is survived by his wife Susan (née Dye), his children Karen (Joseph Latronica), Kathy (Victor Isbrucker), and Colin (Robyn, née Kinsman), his grandchildren Willem, Adam, Benjamin, Asher, Avery and Evan, Susan’s daughter Chantelle and her children Kayley and Connor. He was predeceased by his first wife Janet (née McGowan) and his brothers Frank and Victor.
A retired employee of General Motors, Fred was an avid golfer until his early eighties and also excelled at curling, darts and bowling.
As per Fred’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
Internment will take place at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery in Montréal at a date to be determined in 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
