Passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. She was the wife of the late Samuel Reid Thomas. Loving Mother of Reid (Patricia), Tom (Shirley), Brian, and Wayne (Dale). Loving Grandmother of Richard (Angela), SheriLyn, Leanne (Brad), Danielle (Ryan), Sandy, and Nicholas.  Proud Great Grandmother of Elizabeth (Brett), Keegan, Simplicity, Rachel, Paige, Olive, Sadie, Lucas and Owen. Proud Great Great Grandmother of Sawyer. Survived by her sister Edith. Predeceased by her siblings, Jim, Jack, Gertrude, Gladys and Edward. Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter in law and best friend Shirley. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Saturday, November 18 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Memorial Service to take place in the chapel at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow in the Lakeland Reception Centre.
