Elizabeth (Lisa) Hubers

Elizabeth (Lisa) Hubers was bornin Weesp, Holland on December 25, 1936. She immigrated to Canada in 1952 with her parents and 13 siblings. She met the love of her life Peter (predeceased) in Oshawa. They were married for 45 years and raised five children together. Bill (Lee, Rick (Angela), Gerry, Bob (predeceased) Susan, and Debbie Gordon (Don).

Lisa was a selfless and caring person, always putting others needs before her own. She loved gathering with her siblings, friends, children, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was hardworking, and cared for countless students as she drove them to school over the 35 years she drove a school bus. Lisa loved cards, Scrabble, shuffleboard and volleyball, always playing with a competitive edge.

Lisa passed peacefully at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital with family by her side. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
