Elizabeth Anne Rogerson (nee Lehigh)

It is with deep sadness that our family shares news of the passing of Elizabeth Anne Rogerson (née Lehigh). Born on December 28, 1945 in Bancroft, Ontario, Elizabeth passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of Mike Rogerson for 57 years. She was the dear mother of Darrin (Candice) and Jerry (Angie). Affectionately known as “Ganny”, Elizabeth was deeply adored and cherished by her grandchildren: Tyler (Natalie), Dylan (Alyssa), Broden, Jaxon and Ryan. After many years, hopes and prayers, Elizabeth’s dream of finally having a daughter came true with the arrival of her great-granddaughter, Erin Elizabeth Rogerson, in June 2025.

Elizabeth and Mike lived in the village of Janetville for 47 years, a time filled with happiness, lasting friendships and many cherished memories. In 2018, they moved to Bobcaygeon where they continued to build more great friendships and make new memories.

Elizabeth had the remarkable ability to light up a room, making everyone feel at ease. She was a thoughtful listener, and she cared deeply for others by showing it in countless ways. She will be remembered by innumerable family members, friends and neighbours.

In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, a private funeral will be held.

In lieu of flowers, it is asked that donations be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
