Obituary

Elizabeth Anne “Annie” Flora  (Eyers)

 March 23, 1951 – April 18, 2023

Passed calmly in her sleep, in palliative care at Ross Memorial Hospital.

Beloved wife of Stuart Jacobs.

Lovingly remembered by her sons Jake, and Josh, and grandchildren, Levi, Hailey, and Elise.

Predeceased by her father Laverne Eyers and Mother Ruth Eyers (Stephens), and brothers John (Judy), and Danny (Mari).

Annie will be missed by her siblings, Bob (Stella), Tom (Cheryl), Louise (Ken Scully), Grace (Harold Reeds), and Paul.

Aunt Annie will be missed by her many Nieces, Nephews, and friends.

As Annie wished, there will be no funeral. We will spread her ashes in places in our yard that we know meant so much to her. She loved her gardens and worked very hard to make them the way she wanted them.

Annie spent much of her working life as a PSW in the Lindsay area getting to know many of her clients very well. Including Stuarts Father and Step Mother who introduced Stuart and Annie.

She also loved her animals, four footed fur babies, whether they be feline, equine, or canine. There was also a mix of feathered friends at different times. From Chickens, ducks, and a turkey in the coop, to quail, a fancy dove, and a pigeon named Oshawa (that walked up to her in the Chapters parking lot) in her aviary.

She could spend many contented hours in a book store, which gave Stuart time to make visits to his favorite tool shops in the area, before coming back to pick her up to go home.

AND THEN, there was her Arts & Crafts. She was truly a talented woman.

Her adventurous spirit took her to live in other parts of Canada in her earlier life that included Nova Scotia, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Gone now is my lady fair

To a better place where

Pain and anguish she’ll no longer bear

Some sweet day I will meet her there

Her loving partner in a wonderful life for nineteen years. She will always be my “Girl” Annie.

Stuart
