Elisabeth Manintveld

Elisabeth "Beppie" Manintveld entered into rest peacefully at her home on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the age of 88. A championship volleyball player in her youth, she left her home of Holland to come to Canada in 1957 and worked tirelessly to build a better life for her family. Using the skills she gained as a finance manager, she was highly successful in building and managing her family’s business. In her later years, she enjoyed swimming, reading and spending time with her family.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife of 65 years to Arie Manintveld, caring mother to Simon (Bonnie) Manintveld, Nancy (Scott) Little, and Mark (Michelle) Manintveld, a loving oma and grandmother to Krystle (Max), Adam, Colin (Marnie), Stirling (Meaghan), Austin, Joshua (Ashleigh), and Denise, and a great-oma to Charlotte, Jack, Jacob and Caydence.

Please join us in a celebration of life at Lakeland Funeral and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Rd., Lindsay, on Saturday, April 9, 12:30 p.m. Light lunch and refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Dragon Flies Breast Cancer Survivor Group or Community Care Health and Care Network's Hospice Services.
