Egbert (Ep) Luchies entered the presence of his lord on Friday March 13, 2026.
Left to mourn his loss is his wife Marion, his children Clark and Sharon Luchies and Colleen and Ron Stewart.
Ep’s grandchildren are Nathan and Joanne Luchies, Natasha Luchies and Joey Corleone, John Smith, Johnny Greenwood, Katie Greenwood, Jordan Stewart and Logan Stewart. Great grandpa to Carter and Reid Luchies and Maianna Luchies Corleone.
Ep is survived by his siblings John of Victoria, BC, Bill and Betty of Grimsby, George and Anna Marie of Brooks, Alberta, Hank and Margaret Bossema of Lindsay, Murray and Debbie of Thunder Bay, Mina Koops of Lindsay, Mike and Jackie of Grafton, Rick of Lindsay, Harry and Doris of Lindsay and Cathy and Steve Boyd of Burnt River. Predeceased by His siblings Siebe, Sietze, Hennie O’Brien, John, Cecil and Andy Luchies.
Ep will be resting at the Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay). Visitation will be held Sunday March 22, 2026 from 11AM until time of service at 1PM. Reception to follow. A burial will be held in the spring at South Eldon Cemetery in Woodville, Ontario.
