Norman (Ted) Edward Luke, age 78, passed away peacefully with his daughter Pamela by his side at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 10, 1943, in Toronto to Lucie and Herbert Luke. He was married to the late Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Luke and was a wonderful husband and caregiver to her with her battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Ted worked at General Motors as a Millwright and enjoyed his time farming at home with his Son George Luke. Ted truly lived life to the fullest and loved to travel in their RV across the Southern States every Winter. When travelling could no longer be enjoyed, Ted was an amazing Grandfather to his two grandkids Cadence and Charlie Drinkwalter while residing with his daughter in Lindsay. Ted leaves behind his three children George, Luke, Charlotte (Jamie) Drinkwalter and Pamela (Jamie) Balfour. Ted is finally at peace and has joined his wife Betty, we imagine them travelling together again. Sadly both missed but never forgotten. No funeral service will be had, both wished people not to grieve but to remember them how they were. Later, burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto in the family plot. Any donations to the Cancer Society can be made through the funeral home.
