HOWARD, Edward (Ted)
September 30th, 1920 - October 23rd, 2017
Edward (Ted) Howard, loving husband of the late Wilma (Dyer) both of Toronto, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2017 at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, Ontario. Ted had an enormous love of family. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and tennis, had a keen interest in history and was an avid reader. Ted lived life to the fullest, making a positive impact on everyone in his life. Intelligence, determination and a wonderful sense of humour were his gifts which he used generously to touch everyone's hearts.  He will be missed. Loving father of Terry (the late Bonnie nee Thornhill), Rachel (Michael B.) and Lisa (Michael F.) and the late Maureen. Special grandpa of Kent, Daphne, Tracey, Erin, Mikaela and Melissa. Lovingly remembered by his great grandchildren Zachary, Cassandra and Kallista; Thomas and Daniel; Rayden and Declan.  Predeceased by his parents Edward and Eileen (Palliser) Howard, and his brother Todd. Fondly remembered by niece Jean and nephew Alan and their families. In keeping with Ted's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held Sunday November 19th from 2:00pm. to 5:00pm. at Sleepy Hollow Golf & Country Club, 13242 Tenth Line, Whitchurch - Stouffville. The family would like to thank the staff at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, for the many kindnesses and comforting care they provided to Ted and his family. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
