It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward A. Pierce,  born June 16 th 1941 in London, Ontario. After a courageous battle with cancer, Ed passed away peacefully at

Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on June 14th. with his family by his side  He is survived by Marilyn his loving wife of 61 years. Cherished Dad of Steve (Fran), Colin, and Chris (Cathy). 

Loving Grandpa to Bradley, Katelyn, Michelle, Jordan and Sydney. He will also be missed by his brother Howard (Faye).

Ed will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to call him Husband, Dad, Grandpa and friend.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Hospital for their dedication and care.

With Ed’s wishes in mind, a cremation has taken place.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. 

If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Hospital.
