Edna passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Mount Sinai Hospital due to complications of Covid-19, following a long battle with luekemia at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Edna is survived by her husband William of nearly 50 years, her son David and his wife Meaghan, and her grandchildren Kathryn, Dylan and Nathan. Edna will also be missed by all of her nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Edna loved her home and took great pride in making it a welcoming place to gather. She loved to cook, always making sure there was plenty of food to eat.  Edna was an avid gardener and loved to create beautiful places both inside and out. She loved boating, snowmobiling and travelling. Most of all, Edna loved and cherished her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated.  The family is grateful for the tremendous care provided to Edna by all of her nurses and doctors.
