It is with profound sadness that Earl has exited this world for a better place on January 17, 2025.
Earl was the only son of James & Isabella Graham. He has left to mourn his best friend & soulmate of 52+ years, Gayle, his sister Eleanor Plewes (Paul), brother in law Erle Sexsmith (Shirley) along with nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.
Earl grew up on a dairy farm just west of Lindsay & after graduating from the University of Guelph, he took over the farm operation following his father’s sudden death. After selling the farm & moving to Lindsay, he went to work at a farm dealership. He and Gayle then owned and operated the Grahams Florist in Lindsay for many years.
After that, his favourite job was transferring vehicles from a local dealership to another. He discovered new & fascinating parts of Ontario & Quebec along the way.
He was an avid reader & enjoyed his library of books, travelling around the world in his comfy wing chair.
Antiques were his passion & until the very last he was constantly searching for that “special find”.
There was no better place then the golf course & he was fortunate enough to make lasting friendships along the way; especially members of the Marigold Golf Club. His weekly card games were a highlight in recent years.
Earl was more then a survivor, he believed tomorrow was always going to be a better day.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff & doctors at PRHC; especially Doctor Nguyen-Ho.
In keeping with Earl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Earl can be made to War Amps of Canada
