Dorothy Shirley Norcross

George and Eva, Charles and Jessica, are saddened to announce the passing of Mother and Grandma; Dorothy Shirley Norcross at 21:22 hours on September 7, 2023. Born October 2, 1928 she almost made 95 great years.

Dorothy is predeceased by husband Charles, Parents George and Wilhelmina Johnson, brothers and sister-in-laws Douglas and Marg, Lloyd and Marg, Keith and Ardith, Garnet and Diann (nee Smith) Graham and Ian.

She will be sadly missed by family, nieces, nephews, her group of eight golfing buddies and neighbours and friends.

Dorothy was an avid golfer and loved playing bridge. She enjoyed happy hour with friends and a glass or two of wine.

She said before passing; "I would like to thank Dr. Millsen, my care givers who were so wonderful about looking after me, and my friends and neighbours who were always there when I needed them."

There will be no funeral or visitation. A small family burial will take place later.
