Peacefully on June 15, 2010, at age 67, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Alfred and precious mother to Nicola and her husband Kirk Hengst. Fondly remembered by sister Eileen and her husband Richard Clark, brother John Gray and his wife Margaret and many extended family and friends. Dorothy affected the life of every person she met. Her warmth, joy and laughter will be missed by many. Please join us for a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 26 at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, visitation from 12-1 pm with service from 1-2 pm in the Chapel. Victorian Tea from 2-3:30 pm with interment to follow at Little Britain Baptist Church, Little Britain. Many thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff in Palliative Care, Ross Memorial Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) or World Vision Canada (www.worldvision.ca) would be lovely.
