Dorothy Mable Daniels

DANIELS, Dorothy, 92 of Coboconk, Ontario passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Portage la Prairie, Manitoba with family by her side. Dorothy was born on August 11, 1927 to the late Walter and Marie Campbell of Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was married to the late Everett Daniels in 1993 in Coboconk. Dorothy was a loving mother and a homemaker. For many years she enjoyed travelling with family and visiting many places. She collected souveniers and loved knitting for her family. Dorothy is survived by her children Madlyn (Clayton), Theresa (Ted), Judy (late Austin), Jack (Char), Madge (Rod), Sadie (Paul), Dottie (Ed) and Marie, her brother Harry, 16 grand children, 33 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, two grandsons and one great grandson. Dorothy will be sadly missed by the many family and friends she met throughout her life. Family will receive friends at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Friday, November 1 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. & 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 40 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Saturday, November 2 at 12:00 P.M. Cremation to follow. Following the service there will be a Reception at the Coboconk Legion Branch 519, 2916 Kawartha Lakes Road 48, Coboconk, ON from 1:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Doctors and the nurses at Portage General Hospital in Manitoba.
