Doris Ethel Burkholder

Burkholder, Doris Ethel (formerly of Highland Creek / West Hill) passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario in her 102nd year.  Doris was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Burkholder (2006).  Mother of Ron (Lue) of Lindsay, Ontario.  Gram will be greatly missed by granddaughters Kelly (Bill Pogue) and Lynn (Jeff Tompkins) all of Lindsay, Ontario. Great Grandma of Elizabeth Pogue, Alaura Tompkins and Caraline Tompkins.  In keeping with Doris’ wishes, private family arrangements and cremation have taken place. The family would like to thank all of Doris’ extended family and friends who came to visit her over the years along with the doctors and nursing staff at the Ross and the wonderful staff at Lakeland Village for their care and support over the last 14 years.  Online condolences and donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family, and can be made at lakelandfuneralcentre.com.
