Donald Ernest Wiles

Donald Ernest Wiles, peacefully entered into rest on Sunday, October 20, 2024 after a long and successful life of 97 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Marian Wiles. Loving father of Barbara Connelly, Debra Lapmardo (Chuck), Diane Reeds (Paul) and Stuart Wiles (Shelly). Grandfather of Daniel, Lauren, Ben, Emily, Leslie, Dayna, Brettney, Adam, Sean and Drew. Great grandfather of 12. He is survived by his sisters, Marion, Lillian and Phyllis. Predeceased by his sisters, Shirley and Norma and brother, Jim.

Don had a long and successful career of 44 years with Massey Ferguson. He managed tractor manufacturing plants in Canada, the United States, and Argentina. He retired to the Woodstock area, where many people enjoyed his 10 acres of manicured woods and gardens, and his gracious hospitality. His grandchildren have fond memories of the time spent together with their grandparents, especially at the country property.

Cremation has taken place through Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 am, followed by the memorial service which will commence at 11:30 in the funeral chapel at McKersie & Early Funeral Home Ltd., 114 Main Street East, Milton, ON.
