Obituary
HOUNAM, Donald Alfred passed away at the Age of 90 years on October 30, 2022, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario.
Born on November 1, 1931, to Tom and Ethel Hounam, Don had three brothers, Tom (Jr), Joe and Ernie.
Don is predeceased by his wife, Mary Louisa Hounam (Marilou), and leaves behind Stepdaughter Sherri (Tom) Spearing, Grandchildren Kati and Christa, and Great Grandchildren.
He leaves behind his five children David Hounam, Melanie Hounam, Donald Jr (Kathi) Hounam, Linda (Guy) Gosselin and Wendy (Brian) Graham, and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Dad is fondly remembered by family for his lifelong love of boating, fishing, and camping. An adventurist at heart, we all shared in his life’s passion for the great outdoors in numerous camping and boating ventures. He loved his home in the Kawartha’s on Lake Scugog, which was the perfect setting that commemorates his life and memory.
Gone, but never forgotten, he is missed and forever in our hearts.
Cremation and a private memorial have taken place.
