Donald Ferguson Obituary

Ferguson, Donald George passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in his 92nd year.

Don was father to Richard (Lori) of Woodville, Donna of Belleville and James (Clarisse) of Lindsay and father-in-law to Brenda of Lindsay and Percy Storry of Barrie, Ontario. He was predeceased by sons Dan and Mike.

Grandfather to Christopher, Amy, Emily, Steven, Stephanie, Dave, Jeremy, Vera, Colin, Meaghan, Carly, Anthony, Andrew and great- grandfather to thirteen.

Don leaves his sister Joan (Parry Sound) and was predeceased by siblings Theresa, Jim, Gerard, Basil and Charles. He also has many nieces and nephews in Ontario and B.C.

The family is extremely grateful to all the staff at Port Perry Villa who provided excellent support when Don made the transition from B.C. to Ontario. Many thanks go out to Dr. Merrilee Brown and the excellent nurses Lakeridge Health Port Perry.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
