Diana Sheridan Obituary

Diana Lynn Sheridan, age 63, died peacefully at her home in Lindsay, Ontario, March 2nd, 2024. She is free from suffering and the causes of all suffering.

Diana was born in Lindsay, Ontario on December 26th, 1960. She loved Lindsay and chose to stay close to her hometown.  She was a hard worker. You may remember her with Beaver foods at LCVI and SSFC; in the family cleaning business; or DJing dances with our dad.

Diana’s friendships with her many cousins and friends were very important to her. She was a good sister and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Fondly known as Aunt Deedee to some, she was a very important part of their lives, and made a very big difference for them all.

Diana was a lover of all animals. The ones she cared for over the years were her family and the grief she experienced with their losses was profound.

She will be missed greatly. Her awesome sense of humour, gold star sass, fierce determination, posing with her tongue sticking out, and her kind heart, will be remembered.

Predeceased by her parents Grant & Althea Sheridan as well as siblings Lonnie (the Late Sharon), Richard & her best friend Jackson. Cherished sister of Wayne (Linda), Heather, Layne (Laura), Timothy, Kimberly Rose & Tamara (Ted) Shendera.

She will be held close by all her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as her aunts and uncles.

Missed by her most recent fur/feathered family: Holly, Sassy and Stewie.

A special thank you to her devoted visitor/friend Heidi. Your weekly visits truly made a difference. To Jessie for your weekly pop in visits adding some play and care to Diana’s days. And a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Extendicare for the care Diana received over these last few years.  In deep gratitude to Sarah Risebrough, Amanda Cain, Kim Garton, Krista Schofield, Brooke Poole & Mary Camthorst. You all helped to bring joy and playfulness to Diana’s days, wrapping her in so much love and care.
