Predeceased by his wife of 57 years Margaret, his sister Diane, his grandsons Adam and Brian. Raised on a farm In Cameron, Ontario, Dennis left the countryside as a young man to follow his dreams in the big city of Toronto. He was successful in business from his first industrial catering business, Quality Catering, right through to his retirement as Vice President of Monarch Construction. It has to be said that Dennis Gilbert Coppins was a force of nature. Rarely has a man been seen so happy to work so hard; to build things, to fix things, to get behind and push if things were falling apart. He was always quick to help a friend, a neighbour or family member. Upon retirement he delighted in home improvement projects for his three children. Dad was at his happiest enjoying the fresh air and companionship of his family and friends on Sturgeon Lake, Long Beach, where he lived happily for the last 24 years of his life.
