It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Brown-Baverstock on October 4, 2025, at the age of 78.
Darlene will be deeply missed by her children Marion Hull, Dennis Hull (Alison) and Harold Hull (Julie). She was a proud grandmother to Taya (Andrew), Guenevere and Harrison, and a delighted great-grandmother to Andreas.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, “Farmer” Francis Baverstock, and will be remembered with affection by his children, Bonnie and John, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Darlene was a dear sister to Robert, and predeceased by siblings Bill (Donelda), Frank, Jerry (Martha), Fay (Leon), Gerry (Clarence), Alma (Bob), Emile (Darlene), Romeo (Eileen) and Ed (Millie).
She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a very special place in her heart.
Known for her positive and outgoing personality, Darlene brought joy wherever she went. She loved swimming, karaoke, shuffleboard, and most of all, spending quality time with her family and friends.
Over the past two years, Darlene faced cancer with extraordinary courage and determination. Through her deep dedication to health and healing, she was able to overcome it once, inspiring everyone around her with her strength and resilience.
Her warmth, laughter, and generous spirit will be forever cherished.
A Celebration of Darlene’s Life with Luncheon will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay) on Sunday, October 19, 2025 between the hours of 1PM-3PM. Words of remembrance will be held at 2PM.
There will be a second Celebration of Life Saturday, June 27th, 2026 11:30 am to 1:30 pm (lunch provided)
