Charles Harvey Hooper

Charles (Chas) Harvey Hooper of Woodville, formerly of Buttonville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 21, 2023, after a brief illness. Loving husband of 29 years to Cindy, father of Vicki (Rob) Rea, Becky (Scott) Thomson, Jessie Hooper (Stephen Iverson), Jenny (Trevor) Anderson, father to Annette (Mike) Matthews, Courtney (Justin) Thompson. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren; Rylea (Kurtis) Moore, Kalcie (Mark) Dudman, Kassie Rea (Jesse Craig), Paige Anderson, Jamey Thomson, Laine Thomson (Owen Gowanlock), Charlie and Ben Iverson, Hayden Joyce, Amelia and Mikaela Matthews, Rylee Thompson, and one future great-grandchild (Baby Moore) expected in July. Survived by his sisters Ellen (Ted) Gough, Dorothy Robb and brother in-law Howard Brumwell as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Allan Hooper and Wendy Gough. Predeceased by parents Charles and Hazel Hooper, brother George and sister in-law Judy Hooper, sister Mary Brumwell, and brother in-law Bill Robb.

Per Charles' wishes there will be no formal service. Donations to the Cancer Society or to Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
