Carolyn passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 07th, 2021 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay Ontario.

Carolyn came into this world on July 30th, 1938 in Sarnia Ontario, daughter of Frank and Leah Kenzie, and sister to Roy F. Kenzie. Carolyn attended “SCITS” or Sarnia Collegiate Institute where she graduated with Honors.

She grew up in Point Edward Ontario, and her love of swimming lead her to become a senior lifeguard at Canatara Park Beach throughout her high school years. She went on to become the first female lab technician for the Shell Canada refinery in Oakville Ontario, where she tested and graded jet fuels for commercial airliners. It was at Shell that she met and married the love of her life, Peter Alan Crawford, and were happily married for 20 years until his passing.

Carolyn loved life, passionate over her family and friends, and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her only son Alan Gale, her grandchildren Leah A. Gale and Nicholas A. Gale, daughter-in-law Lucy Gale, and stepsons, Patrick F. Crawford and Michael A. Crawford, and their families.

There will be private ceremonies for her by the family.
