It is with great sadness that the family of Candice McGarry announces her passing on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at the age of 39 years. Precious daughter of the late Teresa McGarry, father Barry Peters and step-mother Peggy Taylor. Beloved mother of Jacob, Gavin and the late Alexis. Fondly remembered by her brother James and sister-in-law Valeri, step-sister Kim and step-brother Scott (Maria). Adored granddaughter of the late Edward and the late Ruth Peters, Mary McGarry, the late James McGarry (Dianne), and the late Shirley Taylor. Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Deeply missed by extended family Neil, Sharon, Butch and their families. Treasured by her dearest friend Lynn.

Candice was an avid reader and was very passionate for all animals and animal rights. She dearly loved her fur buddies Alfred and Kloe. Her favourite things were get-togethers with family and friends, watching movies and hockey games, and her love of butterflies.

Cremation has taken place. Interment Emsdale, Ontario. A private Celebration of Candice’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, the family would greatly appreciate a donation be made in memory of Candice to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or Sick Children’s Hospital.
