In Loving Memory of Bruce Henry Paul
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Paul, who died peacefully surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 72.
Bruce grew up in Uxbridge, Ontario, but it was in Manilla where he truly made his mark, spending most of his life and becoming a cherished fixture in the community. Known for his warm heart, sharp wit, and unwavering support for his neighbours, Bruce was lovingly dubbed the “Mayor of Manilla” by his family—a title he wore with both pride and a hearty laugh.
A dedicated father, Bruce leaves behind his two children Jessica Margaret and Madison Eliza, who will forever carry his spirit and many stories with them. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the jokes he shared, and the deep roots he planted in his beloved town.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 10th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Manilla Community Hall. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, play music and honour the incredible life Bruce lived.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Wheels of Hope, are greatly appreciated by the family, in recognition of the care and support Bruce received during his illness.
He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
