Brian Durbin

Brian Durbin passed in his sleep on Sunday 20th December 2020 with his wife of 67 years, Marian, by his side. Brian is predeceased by his parents, Sarah Anne and Llewelyn Durbin, and brother, Warren. He is survived by his son Stephen, daughters Alison (David Thomas) and Pam (Rob Druce), and his son Mark (Denise); his grandchildren, Ian Durbin (Sarah), Jeff Thomas (Amanda), Cassie Thomas, Sarah Druce, Brian Durbin (Becca), Brandon Druce (Brittany), Alyssa Durbin (Danny), Cailey Durbin (Tina), Tyler Durbin (Cassandra); great grandchildren, Logan and McKinley Thomas, Myles and Evelyn Durbin, and Jaxson Durbin; and his extended family in South Wales and England. Brian will always be remembered as a master carpenter and the best Welshman around. His love for all of us, we will hold in our hearts forever. We are all blowing you kisses, Dad, and promise to look after Mom. In these trying Covid times we will not be holding a service. We will celebrate him on brighter days. In lieu of flowers we ask that he be remembered by a donation in his name to the Ross Memorial Dialysis Unit, or Community Care Drivers program for the City of Kawartha Lakes. We want to thank them for the exceptional care and support they provided to Dad and our family over the last three years. We would also like to thank the City of Kawartha Lakes Police, Fire, and EMS Services and Dr. Stephen Hainer for their compassion and care.
