Brenda Shirley Cooper

Passed away suddenly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on December 16, 2025. Brenda leaves behind her beloved children Amanda Bastin & William Bastin. Cherished by her nephew Joshua Cooper. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Sheila Cooper, Terry Cooper & Kenny Cooper. Now at rest with her parents Vernon Cooper & Shirley Cooper (nee Clark).

She was resilient and the strongest person we knew, with a beautiful sense of humor that stayed with her through life’s challenges. She fought her chronic illness with courage and determination to the very end and passed peacefully. She was always taking care of everyone around her, the person others turned to for help, comfort, or a shoulder to cry on. No matter the time, she was always there with a phone call, kind words, or unwavering support. She will be deeply missed.

In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
