Betty Saunders

June 22, 1927 – March 6, 2022

Passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario. Betty was a long-time successful employee of Bell Canada (Toronto). She retired in Bobcaygeon with her father, the late Frank Saunders. Sister of the late Renee Headon (Sam). Aunt Betty will be missed by her nephews Larry Headon (Betty) and Randall Headon (Jacquie). Great Aunt to Kim, Stacey, Tyson and Sarah. Long time great friend of her buddy and neighbour Dave Cogle. After her retirement, Betty then set out on another love of her life, that of creating and participating in numerous craft shows where she developed a following of admirers. Betty was a long-time member of the Ladies Group at Dunsford Golf Club. She also loved playing Bridge and was an active member of an ardent ladies group. Betty was kind hearted, loved animals and people, she was creative, fun and adventurous. She was loving and generous and was always happy, positive and made you feel like you were the most important person. A Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
